Kayaking Sea Caves at Channel Islands National Park

Santa Cruz is California's largest island, and is a part of Channel Islands National Park. Sitting twenty miles west of Ventura, California, this island features 77-miles of picturesque shoreline. While the island itself was amazing to hike and explore, it was this unbelievable kayaking experience that exceeded expectations!

Kayaking with Channel Islands Adventure Company, we opted for the 'Discovery Sea Caves Kayak Tour'. This kayak tour is a shortened version of their Adventure Sea Caves Kayak Tour. We spent about 1-1.5 hours kayaking through stunning sea caves, kelp forests, and pristine coastlines. This tour is perfect for first-timers visiting the island as it allows you plenty of time to pack in multiple experiences into one day.
