That part when she looks at herself on mirror and cries, a tear falls down and cuts it.

Alita: "You made the biggest mistake of your life"
Vector (Controlled by Nova): "What is that?"
Alita: "Underestimate who I am"

0:48 - A little triangle “ding” - and then three immense bass kicks under a blaring inception noise, a synthesized roar, three more kicks, and then a second of totally dead silence. That is HEAVY, and one of the gutsiest drops I have ever heard.

Finally seeing this film tonight, before it's taken out of cinemas. The music has gotten me so pumped for it.

We can actually learn about Alita's *whole* journey just by listening to this soundtrack!
First, we hear nothing more than a battle music, with hard basses
This is Alita's past as a soldier
Then we hear calm, heroic orchestral music
It represents Alita's peaceful time with Ido and Hugo, as she is not fully aware of who she is, down to her body being too fragile and not fitting her persona
Then we hear a mix between hard basses and orchestral music, representing Alita finaly discovering herself (by merging The Warrior persona and Alita persona).
Basses in this part sound less straightforward and badass, and more heroic, as well as orchestra sounds more aggressive.
This is how you make an ost!!

2:27 to 3:17
"I've been watching the sky since before the sunrise. I was entranced by the infinite spectrum of shifting colors in the sky; from black to a deep blue, the likes of which I've never seen, and on and on. And then all of a sudden...the blue of the sky dropped onto me. Or perhaps I should describe the sensation as my whole body exploding to bits, leaving only my heart behind to race upwards, higher and higher! I was no longer myself--I had fused with the blue of the sky, enveloping the entire world! I can't say if it was just for a few seconds or several hours. But it was a strange and very powerful experience. Only now do I understand...how many different people I've met...and how many sad and cruel things have transpired. And yet...there is nothing in this world that is without meaning. And no person has ever truly passed."
-Alita, Part 7, Chapter 36

This is epic.
Also sounds like something that would be played on Cyberpunk 2077.
Anyways VERY good soundtrack and there SHOULD and MUST be a sequel to Alita.

2:33 This part is when you recognize this is Junkie XL. It's like a seal of identity in his music and I love it.
