Tim Coleman - mentally unbalanced︱Cross Training Enduro

In the hard enduro world it's all about balance as you'll see with Tim Coleman's tricks. A ridiculously good sense of balance is needed to conquer those tough obstacles, but oddly there is also an equal amount of mental instability needed too with Tim Coleman's stunts. Extreme enduros are essentially a very expensive form of voluntary torture. You fly around the world to get beaten to a pulp, and pay lots of money to do this. And of course beat your bike up as well. In fact the most important part of training is to leave your wallet on the counter in the motorbike shop and tell the staff to help themselves. For us everyday riders, practising our balance can improve our shitty riding skills to some extent, but remember you should also be working on your mental instability too. Watching these ridiculous videos is probably a good start.

Australian Tim Coleman loves to ride hard enduro events like the Red Bull Sea to Sky on his Beta RR300 dirt bike due to his trials background. Someone has clearly forgotten to tell Tim the RR300 isn't a trials bike. Everything comes back to balance of course, and like any former trials champion Tim refined his sense of balance to ridiculous levels. Feel bad about your crappy riding skills? Feel better with this free magazine made by some of the worst dirt riders in the world - and possibly the known universe. Tim Coleman plans to fly out from Australia and ride hard enduro events like Romaniacs and the Red Bull Sea to Sky because he has applied his trials riding to extreme enduro technique.

The amount of hours needed to get this good is incredible. I’ve often wondered how many hours each day guys like Tim rode when they were starting out.

I’ve noticed that this level of skill is not just in motorcycles. I play guitar and dabble with drums and your average YouTube kid is so much better than any of the “heroes” I grew up with (I’m 47). It’s amazing.

What a joyful beast Tim Coleman is. Motorcycle ballet at it's best.

I'm so in love with my '15 300RR that I just had to buy it a brother 500 RR-S. It's ridiculously good as well... I took it straight from the dealership to the Tillamook Forest singletrack for a proper break- in. It went up all the double black diamond trails with stock 15/48 sprockets and still works well on the freeway. I may suck as a rider but I have two amazing bikes.

He's almost as good as being a bullshit artist was a sport. Very nice video. Good reminder for me to get into the garage and practice my balance skills.

How does he do that on 2 wheels? I have a difficult time keeping my balance walking on a level hard surface.

I dont know why, but landing from a jump into a wheelie, like he does at the end, is the most impressive thing in the world to me haha.

The mentally unstable part comes natural to me. It's the physical parts I struggle with.

Fuk Tim... he makes us all look like we suck... lol just kidding. Boy has skills eh. Love watching him play on the log obstacles cuz I get ideas on shit I want to learn. After 39 years of riding dirtbikes I still learn something new everytime I ride. That's awesome
