BYD destroyed the hybrid competition with Seal 07 DM-i!

Interestingly, BYD has exported far fewer PHEVs compared to their BEVs. Honestly, I don’t know why, but I do know you must be curious about just how advanced their hybrid technology is. So today, let’s take their latest PHEV out for a drive and see how great it can be.

XPeng MONA M03 was launched last week starting from $16k. With a price tag like this, it became the most cost-effective EV on the market. Because in this range, Chinese buyers can only get cars like BYD Dolphin, Ora Funky Cat, and MG4 EV, which are not exactly smart EVs. So the M03 could be a huge deal and a possible game-changer.

This Seal 07 DM-i is quite incredible; I am not surprised to see that this PHEV system is so popular.
BYD's sales last month proved the popularity of these vehicles. I can't believe that BYD is at a run rate of >5 million vehicles per year.

eh? Bro forgot Honda Accord PHEV. This vehicle achieves total driving range of 2100km (specifically 2132.7). EV range is rated at 106km CLTC. I am not sure how big of a fuel tank it is but assume it is smaller than the regular hybrid ones which have 12.8 gallons. Even so
