Hi there is an error on the scheme presented. The connection of 4N35 is wrong.
1) Pin 1 of the 4N35 is connected to the output 9 Arduino possibly through a resistance of 330 ohms;
2) the pin 2 of 4N35 is connected to GND;
3) Pin 4 of the 4N35 is connected to GND of the Camera;
4) Pin 5 of the 4N35 is connected to the Focus;
Repeat the connection for the second 4N35 by connecting pin 10 to Arduino

huhu. danke für die tips. mein sohn und ich haben von nem freund kistenweise arduinozeugs geschenkt bekommen. ich bin fast 40 und hab zuletzt mit elektronik in meiner jugend zu tun gehabt. da gabs arduino hald noch nicht. ich hab so n paar kleine projekte im kopf. aber das programmieren macht mir in vielen dingen noch sehr viel kopfzerbrechen. könnten wir uns vllt mal kurzschließen. Ich habe nun 5 cams die ich in unserem garten verbauen will mit samt laserschranken um alarm auszulösen. hab da wie gesagt so einiges an modulen und arduinos da.

Hallo Max, ich wurde gerne dieses intervalometer verwenden fur meinem camera slider was ich gebaut habe. Ich habe schon zwei codes geschrieben. Eine das ich mit ein Pot meter die geschwingigkeit änder kann und mit 2 Bottons nach vorne oder nach hinten fahren kann. Und ein 2tes code das ich die stops und den interval ändern kann aber wäre fenomenal dieses intervalometer von dir dazu zu zu codieren und damit den slider zu steuern. Aber leider ich kriege nicht hin, konntest du vielleich mir kurz helfen ?
Hier ist eine kurze teil von mein code, danke und viele Istvan

Kannst du ein extra Video machen, also für die schaltung, weil die ist nicht so ganz übersichtlich. Oder kann mir ein anderer das vlt erklären . Der sketch ist ja einfach . Nur die Schaltung versteh ich nicht so richtig. :)

Hi there, be careful with what you learn from this video because are couple of wireings wrong . Ex : the optocoupler should have a 220resistor, because the led inside of it and the wire up is also wrong. Should be : Pin Gnd I

Also ich habe das jetzt mehrere Male nachgebaut. alle bis zu den 4N35 funtioniert  Ab den Optokopplern tut sich gar nichts mehr.  Wo mag denn da der Fehler liegen.
