Yes, you read the title right. Bosses can drop their own skills for you to use. Hopefully, this will not only makes the weapon choice prospect easier but also makes it more exciting!

Izuma drop is also really good cause it leaves opponents on the floor and you can stand em back up and basically leave them permanently ki-less

These are the kinds of stuff that made me want to give the game another shot. I've beaten it before but with a considerable amount of carefulness and no combos whatsoever, i just spamed skills, never changed weapons or stanced and stuff.

Now i've incorporated pre-shifting and yokai abilities with a good amount of stance dancing, and it's incredible how much more fun it feels, it's i'm playing a fighting game. Thanks Poofer

Wish Nobunagas abilities had hidden skills. When he uses the slashes and projects the flames i was shook.
Also Saito had some crazy Odachi skills which were great.

It's sad how ninjutsu have more magic and looks more like spells than entire onmyo magic. XD

I hate that the number of hidden skills isnt equivalent for every skill tree.
Also, I know someone already said this, but i think it is such a waste that the three hidden skills for ninjutsu function like onmyo. They should have been:
• ren and danzo's flying slash
• danzo and hanzo's backflip (that can also throw a few other quick jutsu (like shuriken, kunai, caltrops)
• izuna drop (this shouldnt be locked to sword and fists)

Also, if i knew how to mod, I'd add:
• onmyo- cast 4 quicksloted onmyo magic at the same time that are of the same animation type (either offensive projectiles or self buffs)
• onmyo- doman's clone move

I'd split samurai and archery into 2 seperate skills especially since you have multiple jutsus in the ninjutsu that affect bows that could be moved over for more space for more ninjutsu, even if theyre just passive buffs. I'd add the hidden skills:
• lightning bow dude's bow attacks
• dual pistols
• rapid fire mode for all ranged weapons

Never check out guide for nioh bc i want to play it blind, and man i thought i know after finishing nioh 1 plenty of times, but game is so different it's amazing, and the second i see the dlc boss use severing pain, i need to look up if i can learn that skill or not

Took me 55 times to get both of Maeda's spear skills over twice as many to get the Master Archer boss's skills

So I finally got around to beating Nioh 2 with DLC (Dream of the Samurai anyway) and I'll admit I wish we got more hidden skills from Minamoto no Yorimitsu a.k.a Miss Anime, Specifically the one where she grabs you, tosses you behind her then flash step quickdraws on you. I can certainly see that being a Grapple move for Sword. Sure it'd compete with the likes of Dragon's Fang and Izuna Drop but still.

Would you happen to know the rate at which the hidden skills are dropped ? Beat yoshitsune about 6 times with item drop rate on all gear and still no skill

Can you share a video how to get this status enhance /magic/ninjitsu I don't know what is it exactly. But when. Someone cam in to help before we entered the depth he out this triple status same symbol three times and it also appear on my status. And suddenly my attack damage become much more stronger. Please share knowledge. Thank you ❤️
