"Ευνομία" (Eunomia) is the 1st movement of the bassoon-sonata called «Οι 'Ωρες» (The Horae / the Hours).
The subject of the work are the three ancient Greek goddesses «Ευνομία» (Eunomia / The good laws), «Δίκη» (Dike - Justice) and «Ειρήνη» (Irini - Peace). They were the entourage of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty - meaning that every single hour should consist of those values in order to lead to the realm of what Aphrodite represents.
