I am blazing through the LitRPG genre and defiance of the fall is one I have been flying through. There is a lot to this series but RPG fas will definitely like this for the amount of magic and leveling system they have.

I absolutely adore the descriptions of characters meditating upon the Dao.

Zachary Atwood is good, but it’s all the supporting cast who is truly magnificent.

There are very few litRPGs I have adamantly recommended to my husband, and this is the one I recommend most viscerally and exhaustively of all.

One day, maybe he too will know the joy of Defiance of the Fall.

I am caught up with the Patreon which is probably at book 16 or 17. The characters become so much more compelling and I’ve never encountered world building or a magic system of this scale before. My enjoyment of reading the series has literally only increased each book because JF Brink must be an outlining genius

It’s more of OP MC side to lit rpg. But i can’t deny that the leveling system is so prestigious. Reminds me of kel kade books in a way. I love it.
