Glad to see someone shooting in JPEG with Leica Looks. Yes the camera shoots DNG and that's fantastic but Large JPEG is fantastic too. Super fantastic. And Macro! When I shoot I need a little brightening but not a lot of editing besides that. Luxury Point and Shoot. Grateful to have a camera for point and shoot with great quality. Amazing.

What are the main reasons you would switch from 1.7 to 2.8? Was it just a tad too bright when you switched? I can barely or not even tell exp difference between the 2 f stops. If not sharp enough whats the sweet spot for Q3? 5.6?
