How to Enable 2FA on Fortnite - Turn On Two Factor Authentication

In this video I'll be showing you how to enable 2FA on Fortnite. When you turn on Two Factor Authentication you will need to enter a security code whenever you log into your Epic Games account. If you don't sign out then you won't need to enter in the code again. However, the code will be required whenever you sign into Fortnite on a new device.

You can enable 2FA on Fortnite through the Epic Games website. If you have the Epic Games launcher then you can select the account option to quickly open the account settings on the website.

There are currently 3 options to turn on 2FA in Fortnite. The first option is to use a two-factor authentication app. In the last few years authentication apps have become the standard for 2FA as it provides better protection in some situations.

Another option to enable 2FA on Epic Games is to use your email. When you set up 2FA through the Email option you will need to enter in a code that is sent to the email address linked to your Epic Games account.

The final option is SMS verification, which requires you to enter your phone number to receive the code.

When you setup two-factor authentication on Fortnite you will need to enter a security code to verify. Once the code has been entered 2FA will then be enabled on your Fortnite account.
