I had a trial done in 2007 and permanent implant 7 days later. You are awake so the know they have the leads on right nerves and then put back asleep. I did mine same day surgery. They wanted to keep me in hospital for 5 days minimum. I said no . Let me tell you if they wanted to keep you do it .

I had trial done last week for cervical issues and pain... Was very comfortable..Felt pressure..In and Out less than an Hour....I did have relief!! A week later after having trial removed .I have pain again..I'm considering having permanent stimulator put in. Very scared though..Tough decision..

My daughter was crying she was in so much pain. I found out later the Rep was the one who handed her tissues. She was all alone. She is only 19. This isn’t fair.

Do not consent to this ‘treatment’…you will regret it. There is little evidence it actually works and the potential complications are horrendous. These medical professionals want you to be Guinea pigs for years or decades but the manufacturers don’t have clinical studies beyond 3 weeks?? Does that seem right to you? How can that be? The FDA approval process is greatly flawed, with no clinical trials. The research and development people in biotechnology are happy because it is a big money-maker for them: the miniaturization technology, the new polymer materials, and new waveforms have these people foaming at the mouth—but it is harming patients and it is doesn’t work for it’s intended purpose. Don’t do it! Request an alternative treatment.

When the nurse called me with a time to be at the surgery center for my procedure, I heard the Dr say he needs to be here an hour early because he will need sedation!! I told his nurse I said that's because he doesn't want my help😮. They all laughed.. I have mine done next week😥
