I wouldn’t be here many times over if it weren’t for A-10s. Y’all are my absolute heroes! Thank you.

The A-10 is the guardian Angel for all ground pounders! The sound of those twin engines screaming in puts a smile on your face!🫡🇺🇸

Great video! It is fascinating to see how much is involved in preparing an aircraft for takeoff. Oh, and that Black Mamba livery kicks. And... oh wow, the visibility out of that cockpit is amazing. What a beautiful design.

Thank you Mark! Beautiful photography, actually made me cry. I'm a first class machinest, CAD/CAM programmer. I drew, programmed and machined parts for the A-10. This and the B1 Lancer are my favorite jets. I wanted to be a pilot. I went to college for aeronautical engineering but couldn't afford the flight time. Back then it was only $20k. That was the late 70's. Sad to see the Warthog go. I can still see a need, very few, but still a specific mission for her.
Thank you Lindsay MAD Johnson for a wonderful ride along. I was imagining the maneuvers g force. Amazing watching you position your upper body to counter the g load. ❤

Am s US Navy veteran and aviation enthusiast( Dad was A.F. and an Avionics expert on F-4s in the 60's).
Was and still am always a huge fan on the of the A-6 Intruder, so when they replaced her with the A-10 Warthog, I was doubtful, but the A-10 has more than fulfilled her ground support mission.
Amazing aircraft.

Great video of inside cockpit action. I'm an old weapons troop, retired MSgt. First saw two A-10s fly when I was at Ready Eagle school Langley AFB Va. in 1977. Yeah, brand new A-10s then. Put on a show for the brass, I was like holly cow, like radio controlled airplanes, snap turns etc. Back then they were for the Cold War with USSR Russia, the wall not tore down yet, tank killers. Finally got to work on them at DM, well sort of, I was a Weapons Flight Chief. Got to watch them close up a Gila bend gunnery range once. I retired just as Kuwait deployments began. The F-15 and A-10 are my favorites.

I worked for Fairchild in the late 80s. I proceeded the aluminum skins and miscellaneous aluminum parts for the A-10 Warthog. I’ve seen live combat action videos how this aircraft saved many infantry units bacon. When the pilot pulls the trigger on the Gatling Gun something is going to get destroyed. Enough Said! Thank you for your service keeping this 68yr old man safe!
