I got her at c0 with her weapon and a guaranteed 5* for my next summoning. Yeah I'm beyond pissed at what HYV's balance team did to her given that I've waited ever since the Sumeru reveal for her. Her and Alhaitham were my main 2 summon goals. Nahida and Cyno I pulled because I grew to like them, but I really wanted the two of them. Now I got the 4 of them and while Dehya *sigh...* Isn't what she could've been, at least I found a way to make her work which is alright with me for now.

I really wish MiHoyo reworks her a bit.
She could've easily filled a vacant spot in pyro units: A good off field pyro applier that doesn't rely on costly bursts.
I mean, her skill design wise is pretty much Albedos skill. Just imagine if it were like that just pyro.

But instead of that, she gets done dirty with a incoherent kit. She is a mediocre to bad off field pyro unit (skill), a mediocre on field dps (burst) even with high investment and a weird tank/support (passive).

Not every character needs to redefine meta, but they - especially a 5-Star - should at least have a coherent kit.

It’s weird when people expect the 5 star so early.. I just personally never get them super super early.. I have lucked out a couple times but it was a complete surprise I never EXPECT it

The whole "this character is gonna be on standard banner so don't pull" reason is kinda outdated imho. Coming from someone with C6 keqing (C7 if it ever existed), C4 jean, C3 diluc, C3 qiqi and C1 tighnari but still longing for a C0 mona since launch.

4:14 technically anyone can take damage from corrosion off field, but like obviously you didn't have that in mind

Nice to see Moga-chan again, I was missing her. And I agree Dehya feels fun to play, at least after her test run. I'm not going to pull for her though, will wait till she comes at some lost 50:50 or from Standard banner, I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later.

I got her early at 42 pity (first 10 pull on the banner) so I have no complaints ^^ Now dumping all the other wishes to see if I can get the weapon... but I guess I'll wait a bit to see if it's worth it.

Update: Well, I got the weapon first try at 66 pity (won 50/50), so I guess it was meant to be :D

when you raise dehya i think you should try out nilou with her. She allows dehya to vape pretty often and since she can't activate xingqiu or yelan's bursts in her own it makes the only usable hydro appliers kokomi mona and nilou

I kinda agree you don't really need power after certain point in Genshin since Hoyo refuse to make endgame content anyway, but I think there is a difference between having avg or low power and having none, wich is really sad that Dehya is in such low power that a Xinyan the character historically consider the weakest (outside of Alloy) is better than Dehya dps wise. And the same happens with her defensive options and her poor synergy and even anti synergy kit with elemental reactions.
