Its a crew trainer for my 7/1 crew but I needed to train a radio operator to 100% as AC 4 is a 5 man crew. Good gun but yes slow up hill and you don't want to get shot either. I have all British mediums so it was a no brainer for me. Enjoy!

Like the Sherman Firefly I feel like this thing is something of a medium-TD hybrid. Kind of a slower, slightly tougher Hellcat with somewhat better traverses, standard penetration, and DPM. Since I enjoy sneaking about and putting shots on targets from outside knife-fighting range, I think I can get behind the AC4, and the credit/ExP boost doesn't hurt either.

I would want to pick up the 17pdr AC 4 because it's a more comfortable Firefly imo. Exactly the opposite can be said for it's tier 4 cousin, as I see it as a faster matty with worse gun characteristics.

still gonna get this tank, the AC sentinel series cruiser tank was ONLY one that Australia thought up and built during WW2 and i don't care if its crap!

Most likely because I'm Australian; I'd buy the AC-IV in a heartbeat. All that needs to happen now is for it to come to console.

i bought it in the bundle with its wee bro and i must admit i dont like they are both so slow but the ac4's gun is fun at medium ranges when you arnt the enemies target

The AC 4 is a different way to play. It has decent pen, but crap armor. It is fast while going slightly downhill, so it can become a great flanker and speedy as long as you use the map to your advantage. I would not say it is bad, or completely without merit.

You left out that large plate behind the turret being 20 mm thick. HE shells should punch right through it.

I really like the AC-4, as it's a second line fighter. I can follow a faster tank in, and while he's got the enemy's attention, I can tear up most anything with ease. It's very satisfying to put rounds through even the thicker bits of tier 6 and 7 tanks in this thing. I like it, but I can totally understand why the Cromwell guys would hate it- it is not, by any means, fast.

im 4 years to late so this has been buffed a little but a managed to survive about 4-5 shots no idea how i honestly should've been dead at that point since it takes about 2 shots to kill this thing now
