Russia caused panic as it tried to hijack a German satellite orbiting the Earth. This comes as Russia’s space agency is finding it difficult to maintain its daily operations amid the Ukraine war. The Ukraine conflict has alienated many Russian institutions including space agency Roscosmos. The satellite in question was launched by a Russian spacecraft three years ago.
