Absolutely love this figure, I gave into the scalpers on this one and I look forward to the flamethrower version!

Great review. The face sculpt is definitely off. The eyes as you say, the paint and maybe the nose. Looks a lot better with the dark glasses! Good to see the blood test and flamethrower version are on their way. Just frustrating that we have to wait here in the UK. Guess I'll just sit here a while...see what happens

It’s a nice figure, good likeness. He’s missing the flame thrower, the dynamite when he blew up the Thing (spoiler alert) at the end and the Petri dish with the Thing’s blood. I hope they do the other characters and the different variations of the Thing.

The head sculpt doesn't resemble actor Kurt Russell 100%, but it's still pretty good. The eyes are the main reason as to why the head sculpt isn't completely accurate. For those who are expecting a spot on likeness of Kurt Russell are going to have to buy the Sideshow Collectibles Snake Plissken. The other option is to buy the NECA retro cloth version of the same character. For what it is, this is still a pretty good figure, despite the fact that it doesn't come with a Flamethrower, a piece of dynamite or a Petri dish. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the hard work!

I. Can't. WAIT! To get a hold of this figure, it's too bad it's not releasing here in the UK until October along with the colour Ultimate Frankenstein monster. At least I've got the Ultimate New Blood Jason arriving in a few days to help tide me over. I think I'll display him with the glasses on the head with the hair, that I think would help with the likeness issues.

Macready was also far one of my favorite Kurt Russell characters in the film industry. So far, next to Jack Burton, Dexter Rilay and Ego the Living Planet 😮 and I am super thrilled they went with this guy for Kurt Russell’s debut in Neca’s ultimate figure line😎
