How to fit an F connector to a coax cable

This is a very good tutorial, love it. Used to put the outside wires straight and into the f connector instead of what u did by bending them over the outside cable cover, no wonder my f connectors were always loose. Now I know how to correct that.

I'm looking to split my aerial into 2, I don't think it's the same connectors, mine are the fatter type male connector that comes in 3 pieces that thread on, would it be possible to fit these types on there? It'll be easier if so as I'm thinking feed/F connector/ 8m to bedroom and 1m living room, any suggestions welcome thanks 👍
