I've been reading in some forums about edging. This sounds a lot less sexual than I thought. Thanks for the great info.

For stag edge you can use the 3cm thick slab for the counter surface but not the bottom laminated portion of the edge, it would be too heavy.
We use 3/4 to 3/4 slabs for our stag edge counters where I work. The Dupont over Ogee is our most request edge profile and our most expensive labor edge is the Vasilis edge.
It's like small Cove over Ogee for the top portion and an elongated Dupont over Ogee for the bottom portion. I think it's like $350 per linear feet.

Is the underside of the radius normally polished or is that a special request?

Is the roundover edge more like a beveled edge or more like a half bullnose? Seems like fabricators have different names for the same edge profiles. I love the edge on the countertop in this video. Thx!
