Rick Strassman a professor of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico. After 20 years of intermission in psychedelic research, he was the first person in the United States to undertake human research with a psychedelic. He performed groundbreaking research on N,N-dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, which he wrote up in his hugely successful book DMT: The Spirit Molecule, which was later made into a documentary. He is also the author DMT and the soul of prophecy and an autobiographical novel called Joseph Levy Escapes Death. Today we talk about his research into DMT.

When I tried I had a "being" who was a collection of colorful rounded, as in non sharp shapes, to my left. Embracing me. As if it had always been there. I am very skeptical.. but something just feels like it is a real place. I know you say you think it's produced by the brain James, But then so are concepts, concepts relate directly to the physical world, yet are ethereal. And are directly analogous to 2+2=4, real calculations towards an ultimate truth. I think phycadelics simply connect and give energy to the brain cells, allowing your conscious mind to experience deeper areas of the brain and certain conclusions of that underlying supercomputer. They are litaral brain food. Food for thought.
