Hiatus Kaiyote is such a great band. Nai Palm has such a... unique and sexy presence in her performances. She always seems to embody this freedom about her. Perrin the drummer rips the pocket wide open and really drives the song. Every beat he plays fits exactly as it should yet it's never what I would expect to hear. I've never heard someone play like him. All the while Bender grounds the song by laying down the foundation for all these crazy weird times and making them sound comfortable. Simon.... he just kills. None of their songs would sound as full or as incredibly catchy without him. I'm in love with this band.
