Here's finally the subgenre video about DnB. I've actually been really into DnB lately, especially Ambient DnB and Jazzstep, which is why I was very motivated making this video. I hope you enjoy it!

The track names for Liquid DnB are wrong... The first one is acutally donnie dubson & stunna - forever and the second one is The Invaderz - So Low (DJ Marky And Bungle mix).

I think that Liquid has expanded so much in the past two decades, it's almost its own genre with sub-genres. You've got the classic style that's RnB influenced, you've got the jazzy styles, the pop vocal styles, then you've got all this deeper, moody, slightly darker style of liquid that borrows from the neuro sound design, it's close to what you called microfunk but with more of a rolling vibe to the drum kit, and more complex sound progressions.

As someone who has enjoyed Jungle, DnB, and Breakcore for some time now but hasn't bothered to learn much about it, this video taught me a lot (And gave me a bunch of songs to add to playlists)

Fantastic video. I adore Drum n Bass. I like the passion and love that avid listeners share and I’ve seen plenty of wholesome interactions in the community from that. But there is a weird gatekeeping “um achtually 🤓” corner of the DnB community in naming its subgenres that makes me hesitant to discuss or describe music I like or even question how to label the music I make. So this video is helpful in more ways than you might have known. I know this video isn’t (nor does it try to be) the DnB Bible but it helps me feel like I know the subject better. Thank you for not making me feel like an idiot for not knowing what is.
