When Kratos says the wine is from the island of Lemnos, "near the place of his birth", it could have just been him vaguely referring to his origins in front of Atreus anyway. I mean, it's nearer to his place of birth than Norway is.

What if all of the destructions of pantheon was part of the training for Kratos to face even more powerful pantheon. What if the villagers where Kratos was born have some sort of grudge that the greek gods hate so much? We need to be aware that Athena still exist maybe she's the one pulling the strings and preparing Kratos for something big. By ascending to a higher planes of existence, she have gained more wisdom about the universe and keeps training Kratos to become more powerful to fulfill her goals as the one ruler of all.

Just noticed something that no one seems to be talking about, when you first enter tyrs temple in GOW4. When modi attacks he tells Atreus that "you're gonna be my new brother, once I've killed your father". This could further elude to Odin wanting to turn Atreus into a weapon for the aesir.

I just think he was still greek even though not born in sparta of even if he was born outside of greece.
Considering there is many islands outside mainland greece like Lemnos. Also during that time the greeks had colonies with big cities all over the mediterranean. Like sicily and southern Italy, southern france called Massalia, spain and other places like the black sea. They also owned the eastern part of Asia Minor(Turkey) so if he was even born outside mainland greece he could still be considered a greek in that time period.

I'm pretty sure the tattoos don't make him marked, it's just to pay homage to deimos. In the cutscene where Ares and Athena go grab deimos, Kratos lunges at ares and gets backhanded like he owed Ares money. He got cut in his eye, thus making him the marked warrior. Love your content, it's easy to make little mistakes, when you're pumping out content.

Although I still believe that Kratos will return to Greece, but this is still wonderful, it will lead to a new adventure for Kratos to another pantheon

Kratos was a General in the Spartan Army. He was raised and trained in Sparta. This would not be possible if he was born outside of Sparta, as the Spartans wouldn’t let outsiders become Spartan soldiers let alone Generals of their Armies.

I think the “near the place of my birth” mention is just because both Lemnos and Sparta are in Greece. Relative to Midgard, Sparta is “close” to Lemnos

Well Kratos seems to have the ability to walk when he and Callisto left to Sparta so he must know the exact place of his birth. But it seems like the evidence is pointing in the direction that Kratos was not born in Sparta but rather moved there at a young age.

Modern day Turkey was actually greek from 1500 BC to 1400 AD so even if Kratos was born in modern day Turkey he would still be in the same pantheon

Can you make a video showing how the geographic journey of Kratos corresponds to the real map of the world? Many of the locations in the original games are based on real actual cities/ structures whose remains can still be found in modern day Greece and Turkey

"Near the island of Sparta" simply means next door, or maybe it means next to Sparta there are smaller islands. Talking about another pantheon means not to be super accurate since only Kratos knows them lands. Kratos was generalising where Lemnos is or was

I think you're misinterpreting the "Near the place of my birth" line. Although quite far away from Sparta, in regards to where Kratos currently is (another pantheon) then that line kinda holds up, especially to a child.

One problem would be that if he wasn't born on a village in Spartan territory, then he would not be a spartan citizen
