Wow, that is a massive Bible! I've been looking for a big leather bound Bible for several years, but everything I find is in the King James translation. I want something in modern English. I have begun using the ESV study Bible recently and I find it to be a very elegant translation. I'm not a preacher. I just want a big family Bible that one of my kids will be proud to own after I'm gone.

You will probably only take that bible to church with you one time because you'll think its to heavy and hefty to carry for a long period of time.
