Lindsey Stirling - 'Mirage' Cover

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the candle! I could've probably burned the flowers (and the piano) but I still had the courage to put it on for you guys! Admittedly, Lindsey is still a bigger daredevil that me - you guys saw her "Elements" video? She had a burning video set that almost fell on her... Now that's dedication.

What did you like about this video? And what didn't you like? I feel like maybe it was too long? Maybe the introduction was too boring.

Love it! Great take on one of Lindsey's most innovative numbers yet. This music song is great to listen to while reading some HP Lovecraft. I'd suggest you use manual focus on your camera so you do'nt get it making slight adjustments during the video (see how the flowers kinda "shake" from the camera trying to refocus when it really doesn't need to). The black piano and a flickering candle will make the focus go crazy on auto-focus.

ahh i'm so late to the party when it comes to watching your cover; i'm sorryyy 😭 but i'm here now! hehe

so firstly, damn i do applaud your courageous move of placing a candle there 😂 like seriously, that's a risky move. tbh, i was really surprised to see you had posted a cover for this song because well, the actual song itself is pretty intense. However, i was excited to see how you executed this song on piano (also, its my fav song on this album so this got me more excited!) i don't consider the intro too long but it was a little well, in my opinion, somewhat i guess, outplace or contrasting? don't get me wrong, i still loved it but i found the contrast between the two parts you played to contrast to the point it sounded a bit awkward. aha but i absolutely LOVED the trill effect! like holy, that and the very rapid movement of your hands at the chorus were my fav part 💙like seriously, i want to play as fast as you one day! and the very gentle, i guess bridge you'd call it? the part before the chorus? yeah that was so so beautiful, elegant and sweet 😍 i loved ittt

ohh and i know you mentioned in the comments that you intended on doing Hold My Heart next, but if you ever have time afterwards i was going to suggest/request that you played something from the musical La La Land! The theme of Sebastian and Mia are my fav (plus i've been trying to learn it myself, hehe) so it'd be cool to see your Cosmo cover of it! 😊 but honestly i'd love to see you cover any of the songs from that musical.
