This is inaccurate information. It is worth noting that Dacians were the children of the Getae, also known as the Goths. There were other tribes related to these, meaning they came from the same stock, some of which are the Ostrogoths, the Visigoths. People wrongly assumed that these are germanic tribes. No, they were not! Universal History, Volume XVIII proves it not to be. Leonard Wooley, and the ancients such as Strabo, Pliny the Elder and Justinian all claim that the Dacians and Getae, who trace their origins back to Dacus and Geta (just like the Romans trace their origins back to Romulus and Remus), in the past were also known as Herruli, Vandals, or Goths. I will have to make a whole youtube video about this, the misinformation on Wikipedia and some Encylopedias is mind-blowing.
