Hunter Renfrow lays out a huge hit & one of the smartest plays I've ever seen to blow up a fake punt attempt

You can’t even be mad at the dude for dropping it. That was a perfect tackle.

Renfrow made a fantastic play, got up and went to this sideline like he didn't. He's a pro's pro.

Hunter Renfrow: The WR with the defensive instincts of Troy Polamalu

That was a great read and an even better tackle.

This was one of nicest, clean, hits I've seen this season. That was a Safety or CB type hit. Awesome.

If you’ve ever played football, you understand how instinctive and difficult that play was for him to make. What a beast, Raiders have some many weapons this year man

I enjoyed how he hops up and simply wants to jog back to the sideline after the play.

Renfrow had the WHOLE play in front of him.

He DID see the gunner to his right ... the formation's left ... was wide open. That's why he started creeping that way.

Then he paused ... cuz he wanted to make sure that the ball wasn't gonna be punted. But I'm positive he saw the punter's left-hand motion ... which he read as an audible to a fake, which would all but certainly go to that free gunner ... so he committed that way.

and him going full throttle is the only way he was gonna get there just as the thrown ball was. the gunner NEVER saw Renfrow coming ... and there was no reason for the punter NOR the gunner to expect Renfrow to be there.

that was an incredible play.

This kid is just a baller. Love how he blows up that play and then just moves on.

The way he just gets up so nonchalant like business as usual is what makes this even more badass I swear haha dude is legit

Didn’t even taunt or showboat about it, my respect for him just went up lol

The best part of this is the coach’s reaction when he realizes it’s getting blown up

We really miss Hunter at Clemson! Remember, he was a walk on!

That's a phenomenal hit. I'm talking absolute textbook tackle. Kept his head up, hit low, wrapped up, led with the shoulders, followed through, slid downwards, etc. Coaches would have you practice that shit for half an hour on bags in middle school/pop warner. You can tell he started on defense in HS. Beast.

The Chargers coach's reaction in the background is hilarious

I remember first noticing Renfrow as a walk on at Clemson. Very unassuming, very sneaky, and very very reliable. It seemed like he was on the team for ten years. He was just always THERE. And boy, do we miss him.

The class too, just gets up and is like "okay what's next?" No taunting or showboating. His 20 years at Clemson sure has paid off 😁
