The Bench (Luneburg Heath, Germany). Nicest place to be

♥︎ The story
Little Amalia is fed up with the big city! It's noisy, traffic everywhere, the stuffy air. Her parents never really have time either. They both work long hours and when they are there, they are exhausted from work or hang apathetically in front of their smartphones.
At the bus stop, surrounded by the grey dreariness, Amalia stops in front of a large poster - the image of this enchanting purple landscape in the sunset never lets her go. The vastness of the picture is exactly the opposite of the narrowness of her city, which so oppresses her. She wants to get out, simply escape!
Amalia decides to look for the exact spot on the poster. Together with her loving grandpa, an adventurous search for the mysterious motif of longing begins. On her journey, Amalia gets to know the Lüneburg Heath with all her senses. The buzzing of the bees, the sweet scent of the heath in summer, the heath fire - and much more...
Whether she will really find the picture from the billboard or whether it will remain a dream of Amalia's, you will find out in "Remember! The Journey to LilaLand".
♥︎ Lüneburg Heath
The Lüneburg Heath stands for active holidays and intensive encounters with nature. It is the largest contiguous area of heathland in Europe. It has two large nature parks: Lüneburg Heath Nature Park in the north (approx. 107 thousand hectares) and the smaller South Heath Nature Park with an area of 480 square kilometres.
The Lüneburg Heath nature reserve is car-free and therefore ideal for extensive walking and cycling tours. The heath blossom in August/September is world-famous and certainly a highlight of any visit.
Pure cycling pleasure is offered by the extensive cycle path network of around 2000 kilometres. Ideal for day tours or even stage tours lasting several days. Guided or completely individual, depending on your personal ideas. Entire regions in the Lüneburg Heath are specialised in this, for example the HeideRegion Uelzen as an excellent ADFC cycle tour region.
With a network of around 1,000 kilometres of very well-marked hiking trails, the Lüneburg Heath is one of the top hiking destinations in Germany. Circular hiking trails, day tours of varying lengths, touring trails, guided or individual and all very close to nature and the landscape. The Heidschnuckenweg, created in 2012 and immediately named Germany's best hiking trail in 2014, is the premium product for hiking in northern Germany.
