Nice start to the setup. I know it will be a good hands on approach from you.
One little correction, You said that it can be used for rudder gyro only on a fly bar machine. They actually go out of their way to tell you that you connect a fly bar machine just as you would FBL and you get the best of both worlds. There is a checkbox on one of the wizard pages that you select if that is the config.
I've got one coming to use on my 600. It is currently a fly bar machine but will be converted to FBL so that it looks like the heli it is going to be modeled after.
My plan is to put it on the fly bar setup at some point and see what that is like and then do the conversion and see how that goes. And then stuff it all in the fuselage after that. Should be fun.

I have been looking for an affordable gyro with auto level for my 450 fbl heli. How does the auto level work? Is it like angle mode on a drone? Meaning, does it self level when the sticks are centered? That is what I am looking for.

How does this unit connect to a standard (old) Rx that only has channel outputs?

I can't seem to find this answer.. can this be used on a plane? I even down loaded the setup program and can't find anything about planes?? on there website it say flybarless or fixed wing... thanks

Does this unit support 4 servo swash setup (like for some scale helis) ?

This unit only has 1 Satellite connection! - Any quality Flybarless Unit would provide at least 2 Satellite ports. I'll pass. Don't need to lose my Heli due to signal loss not picked up my FBL Unit!
