Here is something that didn't hit me until recently. When I was a kid watching this scene for a lot of us in my generation, it was the very First Time we saw a Black Man portrayed as a King in Cinema. And of course the Audience applauded with great enthusiasm. The King was JAMES EARL JONES. Rest in Power, Sir.

Even though we've met King Jaffe Joffer before, this is still a solid character introduction scene for him. He basically gets two introductions in the movie, the first as a loving father and the second as an antagonist. That's awesome.
