This is the first house record I ever heard. It was right at the very beginning of the house explosion. I remember my friend played it for me on a cassette he taped off community radio and I was like “what is this?” and he said “it’s this new music called house”. We were both like “this is going to be huge!” The next ten years were a whirlwind of non stop ecstasy fuelled parties. So glad I was young then and not now. While there was still freedom and self expression. Still have the vinyl and still gives me tingles to this day.

Heard this in 1987 in Tenerife at Mrs Tees and blew my mind. Started me off in House, Trance, Dance and Rave music. Still music of choice this day. Great times.

Even when Arthur Baker is bored on a sunday afternoon in 87 and makes this, its still better than anything released today.
