It sucks getting stuck in slides...Some aren't designed well. I remember ages ago nearly flying off the edge on a slide...pretty scary.

Totally happened to me, except it was on the Norwegian Escape cruise ship and the loop extends over the water. It was night, so it was dark. All I could tell is that I was slightly inverted and had to inch my way up the rest of the tube and finally was able to go down the rest. There was an escape hatch, but it was behind me and I would have had to slide backwards……so I decided to inch my way forward. That was the last time I ever went on that slide!!

These slides absolutely aren't fun. I get it, it's meant to be scary as the floor literally disappears from your feet. But there's no time to scream when THE WATER CONSTANTLY GOES INTO YOUR EYES, who tf thought that having the sprinklers face backwards is a good idea?

When I was a kid, I went to this water park in Jacksonville called Adventure Landing. I was probably 80 lbs and ended up riding on the two person innertube by myself. The person that before you go down the slide that works there told me not to sit up. I waved to my friends waiting in line as I was going down the slide and it lifted like a plane wing and flipped me now I'm sliding the rest of the way down, trailing my inner tube. Good times.

This happened to me once at a local water park, but with no escape hatches. 😭 There were dead bugs all around me and I could hardly breath. Pretty traumatic. 😟
