Tracking the Tropics: Hurricane Fiona makes landfall in Puerto Rico

The National Hurricane Center said in a tweet that Hurricane Fiona made landfall in Puerto Rico at 3:20 p.m. Sunday.

Hurricane Fiona made landfall along the southwestern coast of the island near Punta Tocon.

Maximum sustained winds at landfall were 85 miles per hour with a pressure of 986 millibars, according to the National Hurricane Center.
