Okay I model it slightly differently. Loneliness drives addiction and addiction drives loneliness. They put mice in two different environments with two different water sources one water source had some cocaine in it and one water source did not. The mice who were isolated and alone in their cage drank a lot more of the cocaine water than mice who had a sufficient amount of space food and social life.
