Second try at gear shifting, I added a gear number display, the blue LEDs aren't necessary but I felt it needed a bit of colour that wasn't red or white.

My old tachometer was much too slow for this simulation so I decided to use my servo tachometer, had to work out a few program changes to allow the use of this.

The gear ratios and performance figures are based on the real thing, but I shortened the time spent in higher gears to reach the top speed as it was getting boring.

This is awesome! Amazingly close to the real thing. The only thing I can hear missing is the little RPM "bounce" from clutch springs and driveline twist with each shift.

Servo tachometer is pretty similar to Takumi's ae86 but in final stage so its another detail which is dope
