Let me start this video with a really easy question- Is #China a socialist country? We all know the answer to that is yes, it is. But do we know what exactly is a #socialist country?

In simple words, socialism is an ideology which gives equal opportunity and resources to the entire #community. An article published in dissent magazine states that equality is central to socialism, and that equality includes equality between women and men.

In a report analysis by ABC News (Australia), the figures of #gender gap in the political discourse are frightening. The #Chinese Communist Party has more than 96 million party members but only 29%, which accounts for over 28 million, are women. Even the #national #congress has over 27% female leaders. This means that in a total of over 2300 members, 619 are #female members.
