Remember that although RoD is 0.20% and not statistically the rarest drop, remember that it only drops from chaos elementals, and thats only 1 mob in the game. While the coin gun drops from all the pirates. So therefore RoD>Coin gun in rarity.

One time I planned on doing a melee playthrough. Literally the FIRST SLIME I killed, I got a slime staff, threw the melee playthrough completely out the window lol.

Some are less rare because you can "roll" the chance more often, i.e killing dozens of pirates a minute vs killing 1 fire imp a minute.

This explains a lot. My first playthrough was insanely lucky and the second run I spent the entire time wondering where all the items are.

I remember getting a Taboo Slime Staff and I loved using it. My worlds all got deleted at some point and I lost it and I’ve never been able to get it back, no wonder. It’s one of the two rarest drops on this list.
