A new video, in this economy?!?
The iPhone 11 is a pretty great phone in 2023, even if Apple is no longer selling it. How's it holding up for you who have it? Anyone considering buying it this year?

I bought my iPhone 11 in early 2020 after finally deciding to part with my iPhone 5S. I’m typing this on it now and I’m very impressed with it to this day. I’m using this phone until it doesn’t work anymore tbh. I have almost no complaints about it although I am getting a battery replacement sometime this year lol

The iPhone 11 was (is) my second iPhone. I had an iPhone 4 back in the day and switched to android for a few years and went back to Apple in 2021, and I can say that getting an iPhone 11 (back in mid 2021!) was honestly the best purchase I've ever made in terms of technology to this day. At the time I was in doubt between getting an iPhone 12 or the 11 and I'm so glad I picked the 11 (given the difference in price between the two). I still use my iPhone 11 and I'm not looking to upgrade it anytime soon since I don't think there's been any big upgrades on the latest iPhones since the 11 and it doesn't justify the absurd price. It's just not worth it to upgrade if you have a perfectly functioning iPhone 11 to a 12, 13 or even 14. I intend to hopefully keep using my iPhone 11 for at least the next couple of years.

I bought it brand new in June 2021, and now battery health is at 85%. I do have AppleCare+ until July of this year and intend to get a battery replacement before AppleCare expires to hopefully keep using it for years to come. So yeah, I guess getting the 11 was a great investment.

Still using iPhone 11. Quite satisfied with the performance so far. The only downside with almost all iPhones is the slow chargeing. However I keep a second Android phone with the latest chipset for browsing and tinkering and above all the super fast charging time.

Both of my parents have been using the iPhone 11 since the late 2019 and early 2020. Till this day, no complaint was made by them about this iPhone so far. It is all great to use with.

As someone who uses my iPhone XR for simple things like Outlook, iMessage, listening to podcasts, YouTube, Apple Music, and web browsing, I'm still incredibly happy with the XR all these years later. Surprisingly, the battery is still at 92% health and the phone runs great. Apple has given me no reason to upgrade yet, and I'm totally fine with that. The XR/11 line got a lot of hate back in the day, but they really are standing the test of time.

My iPhone 6s is still running great on iOS 15.7.3 with a new battery installed in it by Apple so I’d say an iPhone 11 would still be a great buy in todays market.

Had 11 pro max and bought used “ as new “ 11 . Love it . Don’t personally miss the extra specs, as I thought I would . Size is great too, bigger than pro . Can tell the difference in screen, but 0 issue . 128g model again, half memory had, but still awesome. Great choice

I’m getting an iPhone 11 in April, it’s my mother’s old one that she gets through her job. Honestly so excited because it’s my first phone that I’ll own. Before finding out, I was considering buying one myself, but I’ll be able to save my money for a data plan.

I'm not a techy phone person, by any means, BUT I have pretty much owned and seen it all---from flip phones to what we have today. With that said, I enjoy the simplicity of the iphone 11, the reliability and most of all----the PRICE. It does EVERYTHING any other phone can do and all without a 1k+ price tag. I mean, I did have a iphone 14 pro max, but ended up giving it to my mother after she broke her phone and couldn't afford a new one. I found the 11 on offerup for $250 recently and has been nothing but love ever since. I have no plans to give it up or 'upgrade', especially due to the drastic aforementioned price difference and VERY similar capabilities. No need to fix what's not broken just to appear 'cool' to your peers or to have the 'best'. Your brain makes you the best!

It’s a great phone I think. I have it as a second phone for my 13 and the differences are literally unnoticeable in performance. Obvs I notice the camera and slightly bigger size but it’s a really good option I think

Back in November 28 2022, I bought the 11 new from my carrier since I wanted an upgrade from my iPhone 7. I was very happy to have a phone with a full screen and a better battery life. I don’t think I’ll be needing to upgrade anytime soon 😁

Edit: btw thanks Josh for recommending the 11. I bought it bc of u 🙏

My dad owns two of them, one for home, and one for work, and, when I'm using one of those instead of my 12, it's still super smooth. The battery on his home one really needs servicing, but it's amazing, considering the A13 is still super fast, and it does just enough for while I don't have my phone.

The LCD display of the 11 makes it basically the only option for those wanting an iPhone who get symptoms from the PWM dimming used on OLED displays. There are whole forum threads, subreddits etc... dedicated for people who simply cannot use OLED displays due to them causing eye strain, headaches, migraines, nausea, dizziness and more. If you're an Apple user who has to avoid OLED then your choices are now the 11 or the SE. Give it a few more years and you may not have any more options left!

I recently sold my 13 Pro Max and came back to using the 11- no regrets really, 13 Pro Max was very uncomfortable to use even after 10 months owning the phone - 11 is really really good, does all it should perfectly well!

The iPhone 11 is still great, even though it’s almost 4 years old, I would definitely pick it over the iPhone SE 2022, you actually get more bang for your buck. if you don’t care about 5G, or an extra camera, 120 Hz OLED screen, , it’s definitely worth a purchase.

I have one I bought used/refurbished. And I’m happy with it. I’m 72 and not a gamer. Typically, I check my email, keep up with family on FB, check the weather, etc.. I’ve had iPhones since they came out where you only could use them on AT&T. I remember having an iPhone 4, a 7, an XR, then a 3rd gen Se. I thought the Se was too small to se properly and this 11 is much easier to see what you’re doing. The Se had a faster process (A-15), but I don’t notice it. We have fiber optic Wi-Fi here so this 11 is fast enough for my purposes. I currently run iOS 16.5.

Bought the 11 back when they released, have been using it all these years. Solid phone. I’ve only ever had this phone hard-crash to reboot once. If you’re looking to get into the Apple ecosystem this is definitely the phone to start with.

My mom went from the 6s to the 11 and she absolutely dislikes the 11. According to her it freezes more often and lags more. What really ticks her off is that the phone app has a constant red dot on it and none of her voicemails get a notification.
