HOW TO BUILD A ROUND TOP TOY CHEST (DIY)

In this video i show how i made this round top toy chest based on how-to videos from "whats up Wayne". I created the box of the chest by simply gluing 1x6 pine boards together. Then i joined the sides and bottom with simple butt joints with screws and glue. The top was made by cutting 1.5" strips of 3/4" pine at 2.5" angles on each side of the board. I created a jig for the top glue up. The entire project was challenging and fun!

There is a great benefit to your accidentally overbuilding the chest: once it's in place, it is not moving far, fast!! Lol! I've been there, and it was good!
