I think you mean that the bottle should be held at a 45% angle, Tom. We love you and Melissa. Your videos make us feel like we are indeed an invited guest. You and Melissa said “Come sit at my table” and here we are… video after video! God’s abundant blessings to you both!

Hi Tom and Melissa. I have made this in the past, minus the sauce. About 40 years ago, I got a recipe from one of my co-workers. It's called Rumaki. I may not have the spelling correct. But, the main difference is the addition of chicken livers marinated in Soy sauce and minced garlic. good!!!

We’ve made these many times, but you use grape jelly instead of the mayo and stuff. When that bacon grease mixes with the grape jelly it is delicious.

We just wrap pineapple chunks with bacon, no sauce. A two-ingredient recipe that is SO good! I really enjoy watching your channel, thank you for the recipes!

The 57 on the bottle is true. I've heard that before. If you tap the 57 on the bottle where it's marked it helps the contents in the bottle to come out easier if you were to tap the 57 on the bottle. It's true. Great work Tom you rock 🤘😎🥃🍻

You are absolutely correct about the 57 on the Heinz bottles. I'm from Pittsburgh and it's a 'Burgh thing.

I have something similar, instead of water chestnuts it’s whole pitted dates stuffed with roasted almonds wrapped with bacon. Gosh they’re delicious. I love just appetizers for dinner. It’s like dim sum. I love Tom’s reaction to good food. It’s clearly not faked. That’s always a good sign. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

We frequently have “appetizer dinner” at my house. This recipe is similar to Rumakl. That recipe, besides the bacon and chestnuts, uses chicken livers. It has been around a long time.

😂 As Tom was cooling the appetizer down I caught myself blowing toward the phone screen and doing the same thing 😂. I was trying to cool that bite down!... You guys are good people and many blessings to you and your family! ❤

Hello Tom & Melissa and my fellow Come Sit At My Table fans. 🍽 This recipe looks so good. I'm not a huge fan of water chestnuts but THIS I will definitely try.
Enjoy the rest of your day. See you next time. Take care. God bless. ❤

I'm not crazy about chestnut.
That being said, I'm still going to give thumbs 👍 up, for all your work. 😊

I always loved these and never had a recipe to make them! Tom and Melissa, thank you so very much! Thank you guys for all you do! My son and I were in a car accident tonite and I was pretty shook up. When I got home I saw you guys doing your Sunday thing and tuned right in. There's something about you that makes me feel at home like everything is ok and you calmed me right down and gave me this great recipe! I always look forward to your videos. Thanks again and have a wonderful night!!!

I am a recent subscriber and I am just LOVING your recipes and your all's super friendly nature. I love the trivia about the Heinz 57 bottle; that's pretty cool?! And these bacon-wrapped water chestnuts look SO good, gonna have to make these. I love "appetizer dinners"... I could live on appetizers! Have you all ever tried bacon-wrapped dates that are stuffed with ricotta cheese? Ohhh, those are good, too. We had a family from Australia stay with us for a week in the early 80s and they introduced us to those, and oh, they were so good. Thank you, and God bless!

Only sliced water chestnuts were available to me. I stacked them, wrapped them in bacon, stuck a toothpick in them and continued as per recipe. They were perfect!! Sometimes you have to improvise in cooking😆
