I stumbled onto your channel after attempting to listen to two other lectures on this topic and could not get past the first 5 minutes. Excellent review of Phaedrus, . At first reading of the dialogue I did not detect the connection of excessive emotion possible from both love and rhetoric and thus the reason to use the topic of love to drive home his point. Thanks!
