Dave Weckl -Tiempo De Festival (Live Beirut - Lebanon)

For the first time, the legendary drummer Dave Weckl was in Beirut for a drum clinic organized by Mozart Chahine and Yamaha Music Gulf.
The event took place at Music Hall on the 5th of November 2015.
During the clinic, Weckl provided a rare opportunity to experience his drumming technique up-close by performing and demonstrating many of his approaches to the drumset, and answered questions of the attendees.

I'm finally pulling my finger out and working through the transcription for this song - Dave's written it in a few parts showing the main grooves rather than transcribing every single not he plays. Honestly, it's amazing to see how it all comes together. I'm in early days but I am starting to see how everything takes shape, but I can only hope I can one day imitate how Dave plays this stuff absolutely effortlessly and with such a great sound.
