Really wished they'd have kept going in this direction and kept him loyal. An elevated main-cast Jack would have fit right into series 6, and between the leverage of a crime (that in Soloff's case was ultimately never revealed or explored) and the desire to be name partner would have seamlessly filled the exact same role that Alex Williams took from season 7 onwards - with the added benefit of making it that much more personal when sticking it to Hardman at the end of series 8.
