I have visited many ranches and they have been a much cleaner environment than living in an urban environment. The cattle stir up the soil which helps the environment. Trees, grasses, clean water are more prevalent on ranches. Cattle are frequently moved from pasture to pasture. They don’t continue to graze the same pasture day after day.

I honestly can't give up eating beef. I don't tolerate plants (no vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes, none of it), and only feel healthy eating only meat, fish, and eggs. And I absolutely feel my best when I eat mostly beef. If I eat too much chicken, pork, or eggs I don't feel near as bad as when I eat plants, but I don't feel great. I haven't tried eating mostly fish, but I really only like fresh salmon, and that's just too pricey to eat every day. Most of the beef I eat is ground beef because that better aligns with my budget.

I care about the environment, but I also care about my own health.
