The Cleveland Cavs and their 2022 second-round draft pick Luke Travers agreed to a two-way deal. Travers, who last played for Melbourne United of the NBL, will split time between the Cleveland Charge and the Cavs. After a modest performance in the 2022 summer league, Travers returned to Australia but rejoined the Cavs for the 2023 summer league, helping them win the championship. The Cavs have also signed JT Thor and Emoni Bates to two-way deals. The Cavs host the Chicago Bulls in their preseason opener on October 8.
