Disney doesn't understand that fatigue + low effort = less revenue. It started when Solo failed, so they pivoted future movies into shows (boba and obi), now the live action shows are failing to retain subscriptions (mainly because the covid years were their baseline, and shitty content) so now they...pivot back to movies?
Yeah, it's time to shelve star wars for a while, keep up the books, comics, animated stuff like they did between the OT and PT, and even between the PT and ST. Those were the peak of star wars that culminated into the movie hype despite the 'quality'.

I like the idea. But I have no faith in current management to make "quality" content just because they slow down. Star Wars needs to just stop for awhile until more fundamental changes take place.

This is good because they can focus on storytelling 😊and not pushing out two live action series and two animation plus a video game a year. It’s about storytelling and not pushing out products.

I like this, but at the same time Star Wars shows can be targeted for different audiences, and it would suck if we only got something like the Goonies (Skeleton Crew) where it’s targeted for kids for only one year and then you’d have to wait two years to get something like Andor or the Mandalorian

If we are getting more animated stuff then I'm happy.
I liked all their live action shows except for Obiwan and Acolyte but I still feel like live-action limits them.
Animation is only getting cheaper and creating all those beautiful planets we got on Clone Wars and Bad Batch is probably crazy expensive in Live action, even with the volume and CGI, it's loads more expensive than the CW style animation.
