Anxiety is a product of what we seek. When we seek God’s kingdom, we will have peace. Why do we keep falling back into anxiety? Our culture is constantly convincing us that we need to seek our own kingdom. But we can’t blame the culture, there’s something in us that doesn't trust that God is good. Today, Alex will preach about how to not be anxious and Loke will share what makes her anxious.

We are so quick to worry about things given by the world... These things are only "serious" because we make it serious. God is too significant for us (including me) to worry about silly things. I love this.

I have been going through trying to get over sin and I've realized that I can't do it alone, and that I need to put all my trust in God. I need to kneel at the feet of Jesus Christ and obey him. To seek his righteousness and not worldy things. I feel alot better knowing I have nothing to fear and to be anxious about because everything will go according to his will. He paid it all on the cross for us so there's nothing for us to worry about other than to seek his righteousness and to obey him. Amen. Well said Alex, chasing my own kingdom is what makes me anxious. Long story short I come a long way from a kid who used to make circular music, I was living for the pleasures of the world, and now I have managed to find my way back to Jesus, although I still get out of my ways and go back to the old whenever I seek my own Kingdom. I'm so into making music that I have been having thoughts of leaving it because it distracts me from seeking first the kingdom of God but I have realized that it's not even about just the music, it's about me wanting to seek my own kingdom with the music. Thank you so much for preaching about this, I'm currently fighting with this as of right now and I just thought let me grab my bible and listen to Amen Podcast, I feel a lot calmer and it's all because I have chosen to seek God right now, who knows? Everything. Everything makes me anxious. I'm worried I'll never make enough money. I look at my son and I see the failed 7 years of trying with his mom that I'm no longer with. I'm anxious about my christian walk because I'm not perfect. I'm anxious about everything. This helped me a lot because I haven't put God first. I'll definitely take this to heart❤
