The Valanari waterfall is located in Drafi, Penteli. It is nearly half an hour away from the center of Athens and it reminds us of the hidden treasures that Greece has to offer. The name Valanaris derives from the oak forest that once dominated the surrounding hills. The stream begins from the heights of Mavrenoras in southern Penteli.
