We still need these features :
1. Add tabs to the new file explorer.
2. Give us options to change default fonts.
3. Give us options to change default folder color.

I have a strong feeling File Explorer will get worked over before Windows 11 fully launches in the fall. It's a great start so far. Personally, I think the new Settings app makes for a great model for the new File Explorer to follow. I'd love to see Settings' typeface, font, GUI and UX appear in File Explorer.

Going to find it hard going back to 10 which is a good sign. Just something about it, ….they’ve just cut away all the crap. Gaming is great to, seems a lot more responsive starting games and returning to desktop

Windows 11 is unbelievably beautiful. Zac of Windows Central did a fantastic job showing us a video on Windows 11

Widget button should definitely move to the left. Makes way more sense and helps balance it out

Love the new OS... Really amazing.

If anyone from Microsoft sees this.. Would be awesome to have the widget panel work alone, without having to open links in edge... And like you said, see Twitter feeds, reply, like all that good stuff...

That would be actually useful compared to what it is now..

Using the Windows 11 Insider Preview, while watching this :D I'm enjoying Windows 11. Very beautiful! :)

Why does this make me wanna restart to get a fresh start

I installed the Insider preview on my Surface Pro 3, which strangely seems to be capable of handling Windows 11 despite being 3 or 4 years older than my Dell XPS 15 which MS says I can't install it on.

I discovered that if you switch from dark mode to light mode you lose the new File Explorer (it reverts to the old one) until you restart the PC.

my problems:

If you want to go to the desktop clicking to the right bottom part of your screen, you won't be able to, because the button is not completely to the right bottom part, instead it's a little bit moved to the left so doing a quick moving to click it won't work. (so just do win+d) same with the centered Windows button, happily you can put it on the left.

Floating multimedia shortcuts (FN+F3 for volume up, etc, depends on your keyboard) are the same as before

Hitting Win+A brings up your action center, like in Windows 10, THE THING IS it doesn't have your notifications, because the notifications are not in in the Ethernet/Wi-fi/Volume quick settings that pops up and instead they're in the calendar/hour part.

It's hard to change your microphone volume because it's kinda hidden, before it was right click top the sound icon, and then "sounds", now it's like 6 clicks and then the old menu pops up

Corner windows have a weird blank color in the dark theme

Apps will resize and move a bit after you close them and open them again, if you place them near the edges of your screen. So basically if you place an app at the left part of your screen and then another app at the Right part of your screen, after closing and opening both, they'll be at the top of each other in the middle. (leaving a gap between your screen edges. This started to happen to me in windows10 in win11 they didn't fixed it yet and they prolly won't, I've already reported it multiple times. (won't happen if you use the option that automatically resizes your windows, only if you do it manually)

The new store doesn't let you install games that aren't available, say Forza Horizon 3. This was completely possible before, I was playing the game yesterday in my other PC with Windows 10. If you owned it, you CAN install it and PLAY it just fine in Windows 10. The thing about these games is that people can't buy them anymore because of old licenses, but the ones who already bought them, like I did with forza horizon 3 like 2 years ago, are able to play the just fine in Windows 10. I unninstalled it in my windows 10 pc just to make sure and still lets me install it, now in Windows 11 it won't let me install it.

The store doesn't show Xbox One / Xbox Series S/X games anymore and they removed the filter, so basically if you're in your PC and you want to buy let's say battlefield 2042, Dead Rising 3, etc to later play it in your xbox console, you can't do it anymore. It won't show you console games, only PC titles. If you enter in categories like "Best selling" the filter will automatically appear, but it won't work, like if this was intentional. I usually did this xbox filter thing multiple times to shop for xbox console games, don't know about the rest. This also means you cannot claim your 3 free Xbox Live Gold games from your PC anymore, gotta go to the web browser.

"Game guides" created and published by AyazApps to scam people in the Microsoft Store, are still there, the thing is that if you search any game, is the first thing it will show app. If you read the critics there are already multiple users complaining that they bough that thinking it was the game.

Apps in the store are not well categorized like before. In windows 10 and xbox consoles (or in the microsoft store web version) it says "Available on", and then it has a PC tag if it's for PC, or an Xbox One tag, or an XboxSeries X/S tag. Now it doesn't says anything of that, instead it says some long sentence in the Download part. You gotta search through multiple words if it says "windows 10" or if it says "xbox one", it doesn't say anything about Xbox series S/X, try searching subnautica for example in the win 11 microsoft store and then try again in the web version of the store.

Future telling: Games in the Microsoft Store don't say if you're buying a "Win32" game, or an "UWP" game. So maybe one of your friends buys the Win32 version of the same game you own in UWP (if you're playing through the gamepass it's UWP, that means is crossplay with Xbox consoles but not with steam, because in steam the games are uploaded in Win32.) So basically you'll both have different versions of the same game

Windows 11 looks primed for a Neo type device. Love the UI so far. Imagine the widgets flyout on the left screen and working in the right.

Can you copy paste something in Dark Mode and see if the copy dialogue is properly skinned?

The overall design looks great - especially the new settings! I love it! I am so disappointed there are no colored title bars on the explorer though. Although on another video I see it has transparency so that is cool - kind of like Windows 7. I first I saw that there were colored title bars in other areas (legacy settings like sounds and MS Edge) and I thought - "Oh, good it is still there" then you should the explorer and I only see the border color accents. Also hope that in a future build they will finally remove the squares around icons on the desktop! When you demonstrated moving the icon from the start menu on the desktop, it still had those squares. I also still wish we could have smaller taskbar buttons to have a thinner taskbar with the option of icon labels again - and yes - even quick launch because sometimes I like using that. lol Oh I do like that they removed the day from the taskbar where the date and time where compared to the previous leaked build because I thought that looked too cluttered. Overall, this is a step in the right direction!

I miss weather being on my taskbar. I actually started to know what the weather is currently.

I also hate the lack of letting me change the size of programs in the taskbar. I use a 4K TV, so I need them to be the classic style.
