Oo nice review man. Agree about the buttons, a touch interface would've been better I think. I've tried a few cheaper version of wireless in ears but none have been that good so far... Might have to give these a try.

I just recently purchased my Soundsport Free from Bose. I'm not getting any of the terrible latency that others have commented on. There was a firmware update needed when I first powered them up. Perhaps the latency problem has been fixed.

I have the jabra 65t and just ordered the bose free - - jabras are very good and stable--cant wait to try the bose

Hi Jason. I absolutely love mine, great sound.
With regards to audio lag. Most of the time the lag you see when watching videos is down to the app. For example, when I watch video through Netflix, VLC, there is no audio lag. When I use the official You Tube app, I see audio lag. A workaround I use when watching You Tube is to watch the video through my web browser. I have an iPhone and when I watch the You Tube video through Safari, there is no audio lag.

Always found Bose more form than function, especially when doing instant comparisons with other manufacturers products at the same price point. As you say though JB, sound will always be subjective and these certainly have form. Good review as always 👍

The sound on these headphones are amazing! But I found that pairing these to other devices were a nightmare and in most cases, only the right headphone would catch the signal. Which is odd since I thought they both worked off each other. It's a shame but I'll be returning mine tomorrow.

Nice real-world review. How are they for making and receiving phone and Skype calls? Does the carry box easily fit in your pockets? Also, do they block out much noise? i.e. would they be suitable for use in a noisy office environment?

Good review again!! I agree latency seems to be the worst thing about wireless earphones! Have you used any that are good for that?? I think battery life is important too! Its just a matter of weighing up size and weight to battery life ratio. They look good!
