There are many stars in our galaxy which are hotter, heavier and brighter than the sun, and among the most extreme types are Wolf-Rayet Stars. Today, we will describe these stars in this short video.

Got excited when he said it was close to exploding for a split second then remembered its "close" in the context of space

I love SEA's content, seriously go to his channel it's super chill, informative and well edited. I subbed a couple years ago, I recommend it.

As someone who has studied Wolf-Rayet stars for nearly 2 years, most of this is true. Though the nebulae which surround WRs aren’t planetary nebulae, they’re just ejecta nebulae but I guess the two are very similar

I would love a full video of these stars!

Could you make a video on the classes of stars out there? (incl. Wolf-Rayet)
I'd LOVE to watch it!

Thank you! This was short but informative, especially with how many times you've mentioned WR stars. I agree with someone else that I'd like a full video on either WR stars or someone else mentioned star types including WR.

About 8000ligh years away from us is a WR that, if it were to explode right now, would probably send a gamma ray in the vicinity or on Earth.

This would be a great topic for a long-form vid. :)

This is great. Around 10 days ago I watched a video that mentioned Wolf Rayet stars. I am a lifelong fan of all thing outer space and I had never heard this term before. Given the letter based classification of stars and, indeed our Milky Way's very own galactic center Sagitarius A*, I thought I was hearing something closer to "Wulfram A star." Needless to say, I was flummoxed when the internet turned up nothing about this amazing Wulfram A star. It took about 20 minutes, but I figured it out lol

I like how you say unfathomable, not so much how you say nebulae. 😁 love the stars. Great video.

Your longer vids have quite the soporific effect on me so these shorter ones are better. XD

When it’s so hot it doesn’t matter if it’s C, F or K.

I love how at those high temperatures it doesn't really matter anymore if you use Celsius, Kelvin or Fahrenheit 😂

I have a tip for your channel description. Insteat of saying „thanks for stopping by!“ why not use „thanks for the fly-by“ or something space related
